Even a detailed listing may leave questions unanswered. A photo may not show the exact angle you need. A description may not address a specific concern. A delivery arrangement may need clarification before you commit.

Contacting the seller through Bukiia messaging resolves these uncertainties. It also creates a record of what was discussed — which matters if a dispute ever arises. A conversation on Bukiia is evidence; a conversation elsewhere is not.

How to Contact a Seller

To contact a seller, open the product page, find the seller section, and select Message Seller. Then send your question. The conversation is stored in your Bukiia messages, where you can return to it at any time.

Useful Questions to Ask

Good questions are specific and relevant to the transaction. Depending on the product, useful questions may include whether the item is still available, whether the listed condition is accurate, whether the displayed quantity is correct, whether all accessories are included, what delivery options are available, where pickup can take place, whether there are any known defects, and whether the product is currently in the seller's possession.

Each of these questions targets something a listing may not make clear. A seller's answers — prompt, specific, and consistent with the listing — tell you as much as the answers themselves.

What Not to Share

Messaging is for transaction-related communication, not for exchanging sensitive information. Never share passwords, Mobile Money PINs, account verification codes, payment authentication codes, or other security credentials. No legitimate seller needs these, and any request for them is a warning sign.

Be equally careful with personal information that is not necessary for the transaction. Share what is needed for delivery or coordination, and no more.

Reading the Seller's Response

A seller's response is itself informative. A seller who answers clearly and promptly is demonstrating the conduct that makes for a safe transaction. A seller who avoids questions, answers vaguely, or pressures you to move the conversation off Bukiia or to pay outside the protected process is signalling something you should take seriously.

Trust your judgement here. If a conversation feels evasive or rushed, that feeling is worth acting on — either by asking more questions or by walking away.
