The Bukiia Transaction Flow

Every purchase on Bukiia follows a structured sequence designed to keep both buyers and sellers accountable. Understanding this flow helps you know what to expect at each stage and what is expected of you.

A normal purchase moves through these stages:

  1. Discover. The buyer searches for a product using Bukiia's search, categories, or filters.

  2. Review. The buyer reviews the product listing, seller information, condition, photos, price, and relevant policies before making any commitment.

  3. Communicate. If additional information is needed, the buyer contacts the seller through Bukiia messaging. This keeps the conversation on record and within the platform.

  4. Order. The buyer selects the product and proceeds to checkout.

  5. Pay. The buyer completes payment through the available Bukiia payment process. This is the step that activates Buyer Protection for eligible transactions.

  6. Seller Fulfillment. The seller is notified of the order and prepares the purchased product.

  7. Shipping. The seller provides the required delivery information and shipping evidence, then dispatches the product.

  8. Delivery. The product reaches the buyer through the agreed delivery or pickup arrangement.

  9. Inspection. The buyer checks the product against the listing — condition, quantity, and completeness.

  10. Confirmation. The buyer confirms delivery once the order has been received and inspected.

  11. Seller Payout. Once the applicable confirmation and dispute conditions have been satisfied, the seller becomes eligible for payout.

When Something Goes Wrong

Bukiia is designed on the understanding that transactions do not always go smoothly. When a problem arises, the platform follows a separate, equally structured path:

Problem Reported. The buyer reports an issue through the order.

Dispute Opened. A formal dispute is created for Bukiia to review.

Seller Payout Held. The relevant seller payout is paused while the issue is investigated.

Evidence Collected. Both parties provide documentation — photos, delivery references, messages, and other supporting material.

Bukiia Investigation. Bukiia reviews the evidence to establish what actually happened.

Resolution. A decision is reached based on the evidence and applicable policy.

Possible resolutions include a refund, partial refund, replacement, return and refund, seller payout, mutual resolution, or denial of the dispute.

Why This Structure Matters

The value of this process is not in any single step — it is in the record it creates. Every order preserves information about what was purchased, what the seller promised, what was shipped, how it was delivered, and what the buyer received. When a dispute occurs, Bukiia does not rely on assumptions about who is right. It relies on that record.

This is what makes buying from a stranger on Bukiia different from buying from a stranger on social media. The transaction has a history, and that history can be reviewed.

What Bukiia Does Not Control

Bukiia provides the marketplace infrastructure, but it does not own the products listed by independent sellers. Sellers remain responsible for accurately representing, preparing, and fulfilling what they list. Delivery may be performed by independent riders, couriers, transport agencies, drivers, or other arrangements. Bukiia's role is to provide the structure, the records, and the fair process — not to substitute for the responsibilities of the parties involved.
