Open to Buyers and Sellers Across Cameroon

Bukiia is designed for buyers and sellers across Cameroon. The platform does not restrict participation to registered businesses or established merchants. A person can use Bukiia to buy products, sell products, or do both — all from a single account.

This openness is deliberate. Many people in Cameroon have products to sell but lack a structured marketplace to reach buyers beyond their immediate network. Others want to buy but are understandably cautious about sending money to someone they do not know. Bukiia exists to serve both groups within one platform.

What You Need to Participate

To use the marketplace as a buyer or seller, an account is required. Creating an account is straightforward and can be done using an email address and password, or through Google account authentication.

There is no requirement to operate a physical shop simply to sell on Bukiia. A seller can operate from a physical business, a home-based business, personal inventory, or other legitimate sources of products. What matters is not the size of the operation, but compliance with Bukiia's marketplace rules.

The Standard of Conduct

Participation on Bukiia comes with a clear expectation: users must provide accurate information and use the platform honestly.

This expectation applies across every part of the marketplace. Sellers must describe products accurately, disclose material defects, maintain accurate inventory, and fulfill orders as represented. Buyers must provide accurate delivery information, review listings before purchasing, and report genuine problems truthfully. Both parties are expected to communicate respectfully and cooperate with the processes Bukiia provides.

Honesty is not simply encouraged — it is the foundation on which Buyer Protection and dispute resolution depend. A system built on evidence only works when the evidence reflects reality.

Account Governance

Bukiia may restrict or terminate accounts that violate its policies or abuse the marketplace. This authority exists to protect the community as a whole. Accounts involved in fraud, repeated failed fulfillment, false disputes, payment abuse, marketplace manipulation, or other serious misconduct may face restrictions or permanent removal.

These measures are not punitive for their own sake. They preserve the trust that makes transactions between strangers possible. When bad actors are removed, legitimate buyers and sellers benefit.

Buying, Selling, or Both

A Bukiia user does not need separate accounts to buy and sell. The same account can be used for both activities. A user can therefore buy products, save items, message sellers, and manage orders — and also become a seller, create a store, publish products, receive orders, and manage earnings.

This unified model reflects how commerce actually works in practice. Many people who sell also buy, and many who buy eventually have something to sell. Bukiia accommodates that reality without forcing users to maintain separate identities.

A Marketplace for Everyone Who Transacts Honestly

Bukiia's accessibility is intentional, but it is paired with accountability. The platform welcomes anyone who meets its account requirements and is willing to transact honestly. It does not require a physical storefront, a registered business, or an existing customer base.

What it does require is accurate information, honest conduct, and a willingness to participate in the structured processes that make safe transactions possible. Within those boundaries, Bukiia is open to everyone.
