Why Definitions Matter

Bukiia uses a specific vocabulary across its help centre, policies, and interface. Understanding these terms makes the platform easier to navigate and reduces confusion when reading about orders, disputes, or payouts.

What follows is a plain-language glossary of the most common marketplace and order terms.

Marketplace Terms

Buyer. A user purchasing a product from a seller.

Seller. A user who lists products for sale on Bukiia.

Listing. A product published by a seller on Bukiia.

Store. A seller's public marketplace presence containing their products and relevant seller information.

Seller Dashboard. The private area where a seller manages products, orders, sales, store information, and other selling activities.

Identity Verified. A badge confirming that Bukiia has verified the seller's identity.

Store Verified. A badge confirming that Bukiia has physically verified the seller's store and the seller's relationship to it.

Order Terms

Order. A transaction record representing a buyer's purchase from a seller.

Checkout. The temporary purchase process created when a buyer proceeds from their cart toward payment. A checkout is temporary and currently lasts 30 minutes.

Payment Pending. An order status indicating that successful payment has not yet been recorded.

Paid. An order status indicating that payment has been successfully recorded.

Shipped. An order status indicating that the seller has provided the required shipping information and dispatched the product.

Delivered. An order status indicating that delivery has been established according to the applicable process.

Completed. An order that has passed the applicable fulfillment and dispute conditions. An order completes when the buyer confirms delivery.

Cancelled. An order that has been cancelled.

Disputed. An order that is under formal review because a buyer or other party has reported a problem.
