Payment and Seller Terms

The Financial Vocabulary

Payments, earnings, and payouts come with their own vocabulary on Bukiia. These terms appear in your wallet, your order details, your Seller Dashboard, and throughout the help centre. Understanding them makes the financial side of the platform clearer.

Payment Terms

Protection Fee. The applicable fee charged on eligible protected transactions to support Bukiia's protection, payment, and dispute-handling systems. It is separate from the product price and from any payment provider transaction fee.

Transaction Fee. A fee that may be applied by Fapshi, Bukiia's payment infrastructure provider, for processing a payment. It can appear as an amount added during the payment process.

Wallet. A Bukiia account balance that can hold eligible funds.

Available Balance. Funds currently available for an eligible use or withdrawal.

Reserved Funds. Funds temporarily unavailable because they are associated with an unresolved transaction, order, dispute, or other applicable process.

Seller Payout. Funds released to a seller after the applicable order conditions have been satisfied.

Withdrawal. A seller's request to move eligible available funds out of the Bukiia wallet through a supported withdrawal method.

Seller Terms

Seller Fulfillment. The process of preparing and dispatching the product purchased by the buyer.

Shipping Evidence. Evidence provided by a seller showing that the purchased product was prepared and dispatched. Shipping photographs are the primary form of shipping evidence.

Delivery Reference. Information that allows the buyer or Bukiia to identify or follow up on a shipment.

Seller Payout Hold. A temporary restriction on releasing seller funds while an applicable issue or dispute is being reviewed.

Why These Definitions Help

The distinction between available and reserved funds, or between a protection fee and a transaction fee, can be the difference between understanding your wallet balance correctly and misreading it.

These definitions are not legal language for its own sake. They are the terms that appear in your account and your transactions, and knowing them makes those areas easier to interpret.
