Why Reporting Matters

What to Report

Users should report a range of suspicious and harmful activity. This includes fraud, suspicious accounts, fake listings, payment scams, harassment, counterfeit products, abuse of Buyer Protection, and suspicious delivery evidence.

The common thread is activity that undermines trust or safety on the platform. If something feels wrong — a seller pressuring you to pay outside Bukiia, a listing that misrepresents a product, a message asking for your PIN, a buyer insisting they have paid when no order shows it — it is worth reporting.

Suspicious Listings

Report listings that appear to misrepresent products, sell prohibited goods, use stolen images deceptively, advertise counterfeit products, contain fraudulent information, or request suspicious payment arrangements.

A misleading listing harms buyers, but it also harms honest sellers who compete against it. Reporting a bad listing is a contribution to fair competition as much as to buyer safety.

Suspicious Messages

Report messages when they involve scams, threats, harassment, fraudulent payment requests, suspicious links, prohibited activity, or attempts to bypass Bukiia protections.

A single message that asks for your PIN, sends a suspicious payment link, or attempts to move the transaction off-platform is enough to warrant a report.

What Happens After You Report

Bukiia may investigate and take appropriate action. Depending on what is found, action might include removing a listing, restricting an account, or other measures to protect the marketplace.

Not every report results in visible action, and that is normal. Some reports confirm a problem; others turn out to be misunderstandings. Bukiia reviews what is reported, but it does not disclose the outcome of individual investigations. What matters is that the information is on record and can contribute to a broader assessment.

The Value of a Report

A single report can be the difference between a fraudster operating for months and being stopped early. Suspicious activity that is reported can be investigated; suspicious activity that is ignored continues.
