A Shared Language for Orders

An order moves through several stages between payment and completion. Bukiia represents each stage with a status, and understanding these statuses allows both buyers and sellers to know exactly where a transaction stands at any moment.

The order status is the authoritative record. It is what both parties see, what governs the next step, and what determines when a seller becomes eligible for payout.

The Order Statuses

Payment Pending. Payment has not yet been successfully recorded. The order exists but is not yet funded from Bukiia's perspective. During this state, no fulfillment should begin.

Paid. Payment has been successfully recorded. This is the point at which the seller is notified and preparation begins.

Awaiting Delivery. The seller has fulfilled the required shipping step and the buyer is waiting for delivery. The order has been dispatched or handed over, and the product is on its way.

Shipped. The seller has provided the required shipping information and dispatched the order. This status confirms that the seller has documented the shipment.

Delivered. The order has been delivered or confirmed as delivered according to the applicable process.

Completed. The transaction has passed the applicable completion conditions. At this point, the seller becomes eligible for payout according to the applicable terms.

Cancelled. The order has been cancelled.

Disputed. A problem has been formally reported and is under review. During a dispute, the seller payout may be held until the matter is resolved.

How Statuses Progress

A normal order follows a sequence: payment pending, then paid, then awaiting delivery, then shipped, then delivered, then completed. Each status reflects a real-world event — the payment succeeded, the product was dispatched, the buyer received it.

Not every order passes through every status in the same way, and some orders may be cancelled or disputed before reaching completion. The status at any moment tells you what has happened and what is expected next.

Why the Status Matters

The order status is not simply informational. It determines what each party should do. A paid order signals the seller to prepare. A shipped order signals the buyer to expect delivery. A delivered order signals the buyer to inspect and confirm. A disputed order signals that payout is on hold pending review.

When a buyer and seller both understand the status, coordination becomes straightforward. When they do not, misunderstandings arise — a seller wondering whether to ship, a buyer wondering whether to expect delivery.

Checking Status Regularly

Buyers and sellers should check order statuses regularly. Sellers should monitor new orders and shipping requirements. Buyers should track delivery progress and confirm receipt when the product arrives. The status is the shared reference point that keeps both sides aligned.
