Communication Within the Platform
Bukiia messaging allows buyers and sellers to communicate directly within the platform. It is the primary channel for asking questions, clarifying product information, discussing delivery, arranging pickup, negotiating where appropriate, and coordinating transaction details.
Keeping communication on Bukiia serves both parties. It makes conversations easy to reference, and it creates a record that can be examined if a dispute later arises. A conversation on the platform is evidence; a conversation elsewhere may not be.
Starting a Conversation
To start a conversation, open the seller or product page, select Message Seller, write your message, and send it. The conversation is stored in your Bukiia messages, where you can return to it at any time.
A buyer might start a conversation to ask whether an item is still available, to request additional photos, or to clarify a detail in the listing. A seller might respond to questions, provide additional information, or coordinate delivery and pickup.
Sharing Listings
Where supported, buyers and sellers can share Bukiia listings through conversations. This makes it easier to discuss a specific product without confusion about which listing is being referenced.
Sharing a listing is particularly useful when a conversation covers multiple products, or when a buyer wants to confirm exactly which item they mean.
Sending Messages
Keep messages relevant to the transaction. Clear, specific messages get clear, specific answers. A vague question invites a vague response; a precise one invites a useful one.
Avoid sending passwords, PINs, verification codes, financial credentials, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. These are never required for a legitimate transaction, and sharing them exposes you to risk.
What Good Communication Looks Like
Good communication should be clear, honest, respectful, relevant, and specific. Important transaction information should be communicated clearly — what is being purchased, what condition it is in, what has been agreed about delivery, and any other detail that affects the transaction.
Messages that are clear and specific also help if a dispute occurs. A record that shows precisely what was discussed and agreed is far more useful than one that shows vague back-and-forth.
Messaging as a Record
It is worth remembering that Bukiia messaging is not just a convenience. It is part of the transaction record. When a buyer asks whether a defect exists and the seller answers, that exchange matters. When a seller states a delivery timeframe and the buyer agrees, that exchange matters too.
Use messaging as though it will be read again later — because in a dispute, it might be.
A Simple Tool, Used Well
Bukiia messaging is a straightforward tool. Used well — for relevant, honest, and specific communication — it resolves uncertainty, builds trust, and strengthens the transaction record. That is what it is for.
