When Bukiia Restricts an Account

Bukiia may restrict accounts where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, policy violations, repeated failed fulfillment, false disputes, payment abuse, marketplace manipulation, or other serious misconduct.

These measures exist to protect the community as a whole. When accounts are misused, other buyers and sellers bear the cost — through fraud, unreliable transactions, and a marketplace that becomes harder to trust.

What a Restriction Means

A restriction may limit access to certain features or to the account as a whole, depending on the nature of the issue. Not every restriction is permanent. Some are applied while a matter is under review; others may be lifted if the underlying concern is resolved.

If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact Bukiia Support through the official channel. Provide the information needed to review your situation.

Deactivating Your Account

Where account deactivation is available, users should review any outstanding matters before proceeding. This includes any outstanding orders, disputes, wallet funds, seller balances, and withdrawals.

Deactivation does not automatically resolve these. An outstanding order still needs to be fulfilled or confirmed. A pending dispute still needs to be reviewed. Wallet funds and seller balances may need to be withdrawn or otherwise addressed. Reviewing these before deactivation prevents avoidable problems.

Account closure does not necessarily erase records that Bukiia is required or permitted to retain.

Deleting Your Account

Users may request account deletion according to Bukiia's account procedures. Certain transaction, financial, security, or legal records may need to be retained for legitimate operational, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.

This retention is not indefinite by default, and it is not arbitrary. Records that support the transaction history, protect against fraud, or satisfy legal obligations may need to be preserved even after an account is deleted.

Thinking It Through

Restrictions and deactivation are both significant. If your account has been restricted, contact Support to understand the situation. If you are considering deactivation, resolve your outstanding matters first. In both cases, acting deliberately rather than abruptly prevents consequences that are difficult to undo.
